Olga Vinokur is an acclaimed pianist and a dynamic performer who is gaining recognition for “the strength and consistency of her artistry” as noted by the New York Times. She has appeared in the US and internationally, in major venues including Carnegie Hall, Alice Tully Hall, Merkin Hall in New York, Shanghai Oriental Art Center in China, Rudolfinum’s Dvorak Hall in Prague, King’s Place in London, and many others. Ms. Vinokur was a featured artist in the London Chamber Music Society, EuroArts Festival in Europe, Prague Chamber Music Society, Pour L’Art in Switzerland, Young Artist Festival in Russia, and the Israeli “Music in Galilee” Radio Music Festival, among many others. Ms. Vinokur is presented in the film documentary “Women of Music”, a classical music series on the Bravo TV station in Canada, which features interviews and performances with today’s top classical performers, worldwide.

The New York Times has described her playing as “an exquisite performance” and BBC magazine called Olga “superlative.” She has been heard on WNYC’s “Soundcheck” in New York, BBC in London, the Israeli “Voice of Music” radio station, Czech National Radio, radio of France and Switzerland among others. She has appeared as a soloist with Prague Philharmonic, Moravian Philharmonic Orchestras and Prague Castle Guard Orchestra of Czech Republic, Lambeth Symphony of London, Primavera Chamber Orchestra in Russia and others. Ms. Vinokur has toured in China as a soloist with the Manhattan Symphony orchestra, where she performed in major concert halls of eleven different cities. The American Record Guide wrote of her solo CD, “Ms. Vinokur invites comparisons with many of top pianists of the past 75 years. She stands up very well and also manages to say something new along the way...” Olga’s recent CD recording of Taneyev Quintets, with the distinguished Martinu quartet in Prague on Supraphone Records, has won high acclaim. 

Olga Vinokur began her studies in Russia at the age of six, and at twelve was awarded First Prize in the National Young Artist Piano Competition. Since then, she has been a recipient of numerous awards and prizes in National and International competitions. Moving to Israel, she received her Bachelor’s Degree and Artist’s Diploma with honors from the Rubin Academy of Music in Tel-Aviv University, where she studied with Victor Derevianko and Natasha Tadson. She pursued her cum laude Master and Doctor of Musical Art Degrees at the Manhattan School of Music in New York, where she studied with Salomon Mikowsky. Dr. Vinokur is a piano faculty member at the Crestwood Music Educational Center and maintains a private piano studio in New York.
